May's Repair Café: Fixing the Future
Our May repair café, held on the 25th at the Village Hall, was another great combination of community spirit and technical expertise. The event saw a diverse range of items being repaired, and we thank everyone who brought their items, volunteered their skills, or simply came to support and have a tea or coffee!
This was the inaugural appearance of our new feather flag, designed and produced by the team here in Tregony!
This car stereo was somewhat the worse for wear; it’s been taken home to be fixed carefully.
Our volunteers worked meticulously on this coffee grinder, ensuring it will continue to keep people alert for a while yet.
Precise and delicate work was required to repair a Christmas ornament, ensuring it will shine brightly come December.
We’re excited to expand our expertise into bike maintenance and repair. Our bike expert made sure the brakes and gears were in top condition on this one, ensuring safe rides ahead.
Gears on another bike were adjusted for smooth and efficient cycling.
A laptop received a new battery, extending its operational life significantly. This one was a major surgery, involving glue and a steady hand!
